Sevenoaks Bookshop was stop two in our two-date tour on writing for the screen and page. This time with the brilliant @theangelaclarke chairing and a lovely audience of family, locals, writers and our children sitting in the actual front row. Thank you so much to @sevenoaksbookshop and support from all corners to make this a sell out event, not to mention the amazing questions that meant we got to talk submarines, uncalled for work-interruptions, the use of the word ‘toxic’ in toxic female friendship, building character, the olden days of being his agent, the musicality of voice, writer’s rooms and so much more
